Jean-Pierre (JP) Chauvin, President and Chief Executive Officer An engineer and graduate of Queen’s University (B.Sc., Mining Engineering), Mr. Chauvin has more than 30 years experience in mining operations and construction management. This includes participating in the development of the Isle-Dieu mine in Matagami, Quebec for Noranda Mines Inc., which required the sinking of both production and exploration shafts, as well as the development and definition of the underground operation. Later, also for Noranda, Mr. Chauvin oversaw the rehabilitation of the Gaspe Copper mine. In 1992, he relocated to Manitouwadge to head the mine department at Noranda’s Golden Giant mine, where he was subsequently promoted to Mine Manager, ultimately becoming General Manager of Canadian Operations for the successor company, Battle Mountain Gold. In 2004, Mr. Chauvin moved to Toronto as CEO of Patricia Mining Corp. where he was responsible for the dewatering and rehabilitation of the Island Gold project. The mine was successfully dewatered and sufficient resources defined to allow Richmont Mines to exercise their option to bring the mine into production. In 2006, Mr. Chauvin joined GlobeStar Mining Corp. as COO where he oversaw development of the Cerro de Maimon project in the Dominican Republic. A greenfields undertaking, Cerro de Maimon was taken to production in 2 years from start to finish, including all planning and engineering required to develop the mine and build the on-site processing plant. A past director of Battle Mountain Canada Ltd., Crown Butte Resources Ltd., the Mining Association of Canada and the Ontario Mining Association, Mr. Chauvin currently serves as a director of Khan Resources Inc., Macusani Yelowcake Inc., and LakeSide Minerals Corp.
Neil Pettigrew, M.Sc., P.Geo, Vice President Exploration, and Qualified Person under NI 43-101 Mr. Pettigrew is a founding member, part owner and employee of Fladgate Exploration Consulting Corporation. He received his Honours B.Sc. in Environmental Geochemistry from the University of New Brunswick in 1999 and his M.Sc. in Earth Sciences from the University of Ottawa in 2004. He has published papers on Cu-Ni-PGE mineralization and the petrogenesis of mafic-ultramafic intrusions in Exploration and Mining Geology, in Series B of Transactions of the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy (London) and in Precambrian Research. He has worked for several junior and major companies since 1997 in both gold and Cu-Ni-PGE exploration, most notably Avalon Ventures Ltd., Temex Resources Corp., Rainy River Resources Ltd., Placer Dome CLA Inc. and Goldcorp Inc. Prior to helping found Fladgate in June 2007, he was employed as a Senior Precambrian Geoscientist with the Ontario Geological Survey. Prior to that, he served as a consulting project geologist to Rainy River Resources Ltd. (TSXV:RR) and a project geologist with Temex Resources Corp. (TSXV:TME).
Peter J. Hooper, Chief Operating Officer A graduate in mining engineering from South Africa’s Witswatersrand University, Mr. Hooper brings to PC Gold broad-based experience permitting, building, and operating mines, including hands-on expertise in mine management, engineering, operations and production. His practical work experience spans five continents: North America (Eldorado Nuclear, Sherritt Gordon, J.S. Redpath, Dynatec Engineering); Africa (Rustenburg Platinum, Consolidated Murchison, Prestea Gold Mines, Kilo Gold Mines, PMI Resources, and Nevsun Resources); China (Afcan Mining); Australia (Consolidated Rio Australia); and South America (Latin Gold, Macusani Yellowcake).
Miles Nagamatsu, Chief Financial Officer Mr. Nagamatsu is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, insolvency, credit, lending, and special loans management, working with companies such as the National Bank of Canada and Continental Bank of Canada. A graduate of McMaster University (B.Comm., 1977), he has served as a business advisor and acted as Chief Financial Officer to both public and private companies, including several companies active in the resource sector. Mr. Nagamatsu is currently President of Marlborough Management Limited, through which he has provided financial and management services as part-time Chief Financial Officer to a number of clients since 1993. He presently serves as a director and/or Chief Financial Officer for Northfield Metals Inc., an unlisted reporting issuer, Champion Minerals Inc. (TSXV:CHM), Eloro Resources Ltd. (TSXV:ELO), Essex Oil Ltd. (CNSX:ESX), and Wavex International Inc., which is listed on the NASDAQ Pink Sheets. For more than 25 years, Mr. Nagamatsu has served in a volunteer capacity as Treasurer and Director of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Tracy Albert, Controller Ms. Albert is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with over 20 years’ experience in the financial sector. A graduate of the University of Ottawa (B.Comm 1988), she previously worked as an equity analyst at SoundVest Capital Management, a Company which provides investment management services to pension funds, foundations, and high net-worth individuals. She also presently provides Controller services for Northern Graphite Corporation (TSXV: NGC). For more than 15 years Ms. Albert has served in a volunteer capacity on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Village of Ottawa-Carleton, and is currently its President. Shaun Drake, Corporate SecretaryMr. Drake is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is currently a partner with Marrelli & Drake Corporate Services (formerly Duguay & Ringler Corporate Services), a corporate services firm. Mr. Drake was previously the senior client services officer with Marrelli & Drake Corporate Services from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, he worked in the global trust services industry for 14 years in Guernsey, Channel Islands, and also provided corporate services to a private bank. Mr. Drake also acts as corporate secretary to Premier Gold Mines Limited (TSX:PG).
DIRECTORS Anthony P.L. Lloyd, Chairman and DirectorMr. Lloyd has over 35 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions activity and capital transactions on behalf of both private and publicly held companies. A graduate in mining engineering from the Royal School of Mines, London, England (1968), Mr. Lloyd worked on various international mining prospects before attending Columbia University in New York where he received his MBA (1971). Subsequently, he joined the Canadian arm of Slater Walker, a UK merchant bank, and between 1985 and 2000 served as a senior partner with Capital Canada Limited, a Toronto-based investment banking firm. From June 2000 to May 2005, Mr. Lloyd was a partner with Private Capital Markets Corp. in Toronto, Ontario. Mr. Lloyd is currently President of Rivenhall Capital Limited, through which he has provided corporate and financial advisory services since June 2005. He has served, or remains, a director of several public companies, including North Atlantic Resources (TSX:NAC), Mawson West Ltd., and Halterm Limited. Mr. Lloyd is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds the ICD.D designation. He is a past President of the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario and a co-founder of Camp Kirk, a residential summer camp for children with learning disabilities.
Nelson W. Baker, Director Mr. Baker, P.Eng., has been active in the mineral exploration business for over 50 years, starting at age 14 as an assistant to his father, who was then prospecting at Hemlo, Ontario. He attended the Haileybury School of Mines where he received his Mining Technology Diploma (1964), followed by studies at the South Dakota School of Mines, from which he graduated with a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering (1968). He subsequently spent 14 years as a geologist with Esso Minerals Canada and another 15 years as an exploration consultant working in such well known mining districts as Hemlo, Red Lake, Timmins and Kirkland Lake, Ontario and Casa Berardi, Quebec. Mr. Baker has served as a geological consultant with Nelson W. Baker Geological Services Ltd., a private company, since 1984. In 2001, Mr. Baker joined Vancouver-based Hunter Dickinson Group as a mining project evaluator, working on programs in the Raglan area of Quebec and elsewhere. With the recovery in commodity markets, Mr. Baker left Hunter Dickinson to found Rainy River Resources Ltd. (TSXV:RR), where he served as a director and President and Chief Executive Officer from March 2005 to June 2009. In June 2009 he retired from his role as President and CEO but continues to serve Rainy River as a consultant and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. In addition, he also serves on the boards of Temex Resources Corp. (TSXV:TME), RPT Resources Ltd. (TSXV:RPT) and Northern Rand Resource Corp. (TSXV:NRR).

William J. Fisher, Director Mr. Fisher, P.Geo, is a geologist and mining company executive with broad international experience in diamond, gold and base metal exploration, development and production. He has an outstanding record of mineral discoveries, and played a key role with several companies in raising hundreds of millions of dollars of debt and equity for exploration and mine development. A graduate of Kingston University, UK (B.Sc. (Geology) 1979), Mr. Fisher began his career as a diamond exploration and production geologist with DeBeers in Zaire, where he was responsible for the discovery of numerous kimberlites, prior to working in the diamond fields of northeastern Angola, also with DeBeers, and subsequently in Guinea, West Africa, where he was employed as a production geologist at the AREDOR diamond mine. In 1988 he moved to Australia, where he developed a small gold mine in Queensland for Cambrian Resources, and served as senior geologist for Caledon Resources. Returning to Europe, he joined Reunion Mining of London, England, before moving to Canada in 1993 with Caledonia Mining Corp. (TSX.CAL). In 1995 he founded Karmin Exploration Inc. (TSXV:KAR) which discovered the 27 million tonne Aripuana massive sulphide deposit in Brazil, currently undergoing a feasibility study. In 1997, Mr. Fisher began work with mining major Boliden Limited, serving as VP Exploration for their 35 exploration projects in nine countries. From 2001 until early 2008, Mr. Fisher was CEO and a director of GlobeStar Mining Corporation of Toronto (TSX:GMI). Under his direction, GlobeStar acquired, developed and financed a copper/gold mine in the Dominican Republic. In addition to the foregoing responsibilities, Mr. Fisher served as Chairman of formerly TSX-listed Aurelian Resources Inc., acquired in 2008 by Kinross Gold Corporation and notable for its major gold discovery in Ecuador, and has provided oversight as a director to Expatriate Resources and North Atlantic Natural Resources (now Lundin Mining). He continues to serve as CEO and director of Karmin Exploration Inc. (TSXV:KAR).

James D.A. White, Director Mr. White is Managing Partner of Baynes & White, a Toronto, Ontario based pension and benefits actuarial consulting firm, in which capacity he has served since 1993. Prior to founding Baynes & White in 1993, he was Chief Operating Officer for seven years at T.I. Benefit Consultants, a pension and benefits actuarial consulting firm. In the 1970s and early 1980s, Mr. White worked in various part-time capacities in the mining exploration and production fields in northern Ontario, Quebec and the Arctic with consulting geologists Derry, Michner & Booth, Falconbridge and junior exploration companies Dejour Mines and Q.C. Explorations. Mr. White was formerly a director of Patricia Mining Corp. (TSXV:PAT), until its acquisition in 2008 by Richmont Mines Inc.. He is presently a director and interim President of exploration company Explorers Alliance Corporation, soft minerals processing company Normiska Corporation, and Auriga Gold Corp. |
